I like that garage door, I want to get a more modern one for mine as it is the most impactful visible thing on the front of my place
So, that garage door is $16K. I have to settle for something a little more modest.

The excavator dug up this bread bag from about 9ft down. Perfectly preserved from the late 60s.

The sewer pipe was 4” steel. Totally fine, but the city requires a replacement with 4” plastic. Seems like a downgrade to me.

The footprint is way too big. So much for downsizing.

BFW (big fucking window). The window is 3ft off the floor and goes to 10ft. It's a 16' x 7' window in 4 panes of glass. I don't know what we were thinking.

What’s the purpose of the black paint on the foundation? Does it just tell you which parts are going to be underground?
