I’ve been reporting the broken ass retaining wall by that road to 311 for over a year now, wait until that thing collapses and half the chicane ends up on my street

I dont know if much has changed with them - but when I was working with Enmax and we had to park on DF to access some of the electrical sites - Carmacks was incompetent and highly entitled. As a citizen I have sent them several complaints about issues on DF but have never received one email from them even acknowledging anything. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Left Strathmore at 6:00pm and the highway was pretty good. But going into langdon and the entirety of glenmore and blackfoot sucked donkey balls. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
When I got back home around 8.45am I noticed that bow trail, and 17th ave (from sarcee west) were both plowed, even the bus route in Aspen was plowed #aspenprivilege
Arctic blast incoming!
Cocoa $11,000 per tonne.
Sounds like Deerfoot is shut down between McKnight and Memorial dye to multiple accidents. Its dumping pretty hard in the dirty south right now, I can't see the houses down the block.

I went through the area just before they closed off Deerfoot. I even mentioned to Baygirl as we were driving south that it's not a good day for driving and these conditions are going to make for a bad accident. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Sure enough, on the way back north 20 mins later, 3 accidents on SB deerfoot, with 1 REALLY bad one just south of the McKnight overpass. I managed to get it on my cell phone dash cam as we drove past, and it looked nasty. Looked like firefighters were trying to cut one guy out of a service truck, and another person out of a 4 door sedan. about 6 vehicles involved there.

When I was coming south through there, visibility was fluctuating between 1-200 meters. The blowing snow was brutal. I was coasting along between 70-80kph, but I was leaving about a full tractor and trailer distance between me and the person in front. First sign on a brake light (if i could see it) i was immediately on my breaks too, ready to push harder if needed. Conditions between Country hills and 16th were really quite bad. If I didn't absolutely have to be on the roads there, I would have turned around and went home. Like I said, I told Baygirl that this was a dangerous road right now and something big is gonna happen.

Yea DF around 1pm was pretty bad for vis, not too bad for grip with studded winters.
I was in the fast lane maintaining 80kph with someone a semi trailers distance at least, in front, but I noticed the person in front of me was leaving normal dry conditions distance to the person ahead of them, and so I backed off a bit more.
Carmacks was nice enough to dump a shitload of sand on a perfectly dry and clear Stoney Trail. Almost got into an accident because everyone was trying to avoid getting pelted by rocks.
Calgary to Wainwright and back today was not bad but avoided QE2 entirely on the way back.
Anyone drive to Edmonton today? Need to go there tomorrow.
QE2 Northbound was “meh” at 7-8:30am. I could see it being black ice by now. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Anyone who can, put your batter chargers on your vehicles for the weekend. I don't want to hear on Monday that you chumps have dead batteries. I will not be persuaded.
