I’m a little scared to go cold start my diesel that can’t be plugged in.

I bought a battery blanket this year as it integrates a lot better than a charger. My regret is that it doesn't have a long enough cord to reach the same place as the block heater, so that's a bit of a fail.

I’ve started keeping the truck on the charger since I’m not driving it as much. But I might just cave and use Skip for food instead of driving this weekend

TPIM, you seen my slick one plug, two devices install? I'm proud of myself. 2A noco onboard charger and block heater both connect to my front license plate.

Have any pics of the wiring setup? I’m guessing you just spliced the block heater and charger cords together and put an outlet on that?

Anyone who can, put your batter chargers on your vehicles for the weekend. I don't want to hear on Monday that you chumps have dead batteries. I will not be persuaded.
LOL if a battery can't make it through this cold you have way worse problems :P

Also both our vehicles are in the shop and my diesel has the block heater hooked to a remote outlet so I can turn it on if I need before I leave

well, that may be true, but a LOT of people will find out unexpectedly that they have worse problems. Avoidable problems.

I'd be willing to pay you to install that on my truck. Cash in hand, under the table. That's two separate things.

I'm ok with that. It means people don't do proper maintenance on their cars

wait an handjob AND cash? wow, that's a deal this girl can't refuse. The F150 centre license plate makes it pretty easy. I'd have to take a look at your truck to figure out the wire routing.

While actively getting tossed off? That's gonna be difficult. I'm picturing Vince Vaughn at the breakfast table a la Wedding Crashers.

His avatar switch looks like Jeff Bezos getting a dry tuggy. The previous one was winning.

I’m sure I have a very slight drain somewhere, easier to quickly hook up a tender while it sits than try and hunt down the slightly imperfect ground that is probably to blame, especially on a 12 year old truck I just use to haul my dog and drive on bad road days.

Are you new on car forums? Every winter we have a pretty good selection of people with battery problems in cold weather. Not you I guess. And not @speedog either, but a good fraction of the rest of us mortals.
