Brothers truck this morning after his wife attempted to get to work. Rolled it off of Hwy 12. Someone came along and called it in. Ambulance took her to Lacombe. She seems ok but transported her to Red Deer after as she is pregnant.

Shit that's rough. Hope she and the baby are okay. What happened?

She's in healthcare and was on her way into the clinic/hospital. She hit some ice, truck spun around and entered the ditch tail first, then rolled up and into the trees. Happened right here: https://www.google.ca/maps/@52.43077...=en&authuser=0

She has a huge gash on her head, looks like it goes right down to her skull. Wife sent me pics. Required 14 staples to get it closed. CT was done as well as X-rays, no broken bones. Baby seems fine but she's headed in for ultrasound right now. So far, it's only the head wound. My brother is away working but they took him offshift and have him headed home on a flight at 3pm.

Lol, I know. I was just telling my mom that my brother has always had crappy tires. She owns a GMC Terrain with much better rubber but she decided to take the truck today because the wipers on her car are all destroyed from the freezing rain we had here over the last couple days. Very, VERY icy here. I slipped on my driveway this morning. It's just a sheet of ice.
