There is something to be said about armored plating. Sure you can't paint it, and it only comes in nickel - but as long as you don't throw a metal ball at the windows its all good.

Last night was brutal in the SE. The humidity and lack of wind. I slept next to the AC all night and the thunder was insane...

Maybe turn the fan on when you shower, you gorilla in the mist!

Felt worse earlier in the week when temps first climbed.

@Masked Bandit hail just destroyed the Beauvais lake campground. You'll never guess where I am this week.

Damage on both truck and trailer. Although not sure I'm winning with that in this case. I have previously benefitted from hail claims, don't see this as likely to benefit.

I don't contact people for PDR. My insurance company does that.

Dang, that's wild considering how small the hail looks in that photo. Shitty deal.

There's some larger stones. Quarter sized. I'm not posting every pic but I have ample documentation for insurance. Not to mention 100+ other campers who are filing claims for this. There are guys who had the awning rip out of the trailer and one who had a window smash. It's not about the average, it saboutnthw few worst stones that you are unlucky enough to encounter.
