Now that I'm getting up there in age I have started listening to AM radio. On 660 news the other day they were saying the city doesn't salt when its colder than minus 20 (I think) so they were only graveling main intersections. I've only seen plows barreling down Stoney on the already clear lanes shooting sparks like a mah fucka.

Also on Dec 27 apparently it was a 28 hour wait for a tow and a 17 hour wait for a boost.
welcome to the old fogies club lol. my family hates that when I am driving I have 660 tuned in and can leave it there all day. IIRC the pickle mixture they use (combination of salt, calcium, and gravel) doesnt work below -6C. Not sure if that number is correct, but, i seem to remember that number from a couple years back.

    I’ll allow it.

Got the M2 plugged in just for you ES.

Not sure the protocol for charging the X5 with the hybrid system. Will need to do some reading on that.

Yeah, I had to get a grey flag or I couldn't have brought myself to deface it.

Prelim reading suggests otherwise, Throws errors on the car and the charger, so I need to dig into it some more unfortunately.

That X5 has two separate electrical systems doesn't it? The starter battery is different than the hybrid one? Suspect you can only really hook up the starter side to the tender. Probably that's fine.

I think it helps that the big lithium batter is essentially exclusively used for starting?

So in a pinch use my noco boost to wake up the electronics that run off the 12V and the
Lithium with the 11HP starter should good to get things running?

Two brand new BMW’s but no heated garage?

Wouldn’t a furnace be the correct solution?

I think my wife would leave me if her Trackhawk or Golf were parked outside all winter long, especially with little kids to load up.

My car is in the only heated garage space. My wife parks outside, she knows her place.
