I wonder how he got stuck on the suv fleeing or was he holding on?
I was wondering the same.
Based on where the body camera is located and the images and audio they have show details inside vehicle while suv was moving, he possibly dove into the vehicle to attempt to turn off the vehicle??
Hanging off the side, you wouldn't have clear audio or video inside.
But on the other hand, I keep thinking, they're trained to not put themselves at risk at any point although mistakes can be made by anyone.
People are getting pissed off at Defense council for playing by the rules when its actually the fucking federal government who sets the stupid weak laws that allow for the revolving door of justice - especially for these repeat offenders, to continue.
We need provincial criminal laws in this country. Quebec for eg. can pardon their teens if they want but in AB you would get treated like an adult if you have lived a life of crime as a teen already.

I was going to ask the same thing yesterday but discarded the post. Seems inappropriate. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I am sure Der will try to get his client free following this line of questioning tho. Something along the line the cop didn't follow procedure/best practice. Drop the charge to manslaughter for a plead deal and get them in jail for 4-5 years with time served covering at least most of that.
Sucks but I can definitely see how this trial will end.

Man, i had this exact same conversation with a friend a few hours ago. The defense will push the fact that if the officer didn't "follow safe procedure" he would still be alive. It's shitty but that is the legal system in Canada. If dropped to manslaughter they will actually serve half of that. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'm sure Der doesn't do look backs to see, so I got this guy out years earlier, now he's raped or murdered someone else... If I didn't work my skills, this might not have happened.
A real piece of work, celebrating the death

Like a friend of mine who is in the game said to me. "If you're smart, the first 50 grand you make, you put aside for lawyers. Because eventually you're going to need one"This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

back on topic: It's no different than people buying cars they cant' afford, they make payments and most lawyers offer that.
Even without Der i doubt they would get convicted with 1st degree but if they did in fact hire Der my prediction is less than 5 years in an actual cell, I hope im wrong though
This should be posted in the politicians are dumb thread. Im sure my 12 year old would know better than to post something like that on social media. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

This guy needs some serious mental help.
Let's not glorify this guy by calling him a politician. Failed candidate sounds better, and he deserves as much attention/credit as your crazy uncle who posts nonstop Qanon conspiracy theories on fb.
Remember when the NDP was highlighting crazy people who were running for ucp nomiation in a riding during the 2019 election. Ya, that's this guy for the ndp.
If knowing people that sell drugs is "cool", then call me Miles Davis. Not sure what was off-topic? People were asking how seedy shitbags pay for lawyers. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I mean... Not to be unfeeling but isn't that true? I was absolutely shocked when I read it was murder 1, I don't understand how it meets that threshold. As was said earlier, everyone deserves a robust defense. The death is very unfortunate but I would be surprised if this meets the murder threshold (not knowing all of the facts). This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
