What revolutionary questions/answers are you expecting from this? He already took the action he was going to take. Showing his face in a press conference adds almost zero value at this point IMO. Him not doing it is just giving people something else to complain about, nothing more, nothing less... I'm sure if he had held a press conference already, you'd be on here complaining about something different and equally inconsequential.
Hes the premier. When he makes decision, he should face the music, not hide behind McIver. Hes the head of the province, why is he so scared of the media (A pre-filtered facebook Q&A is not answering questions)?
Id like him to answer the question of if he knew where his chief of staff was, or endorsed him going through the states vs the UK, or why they didnt boot these people out of caucus. Why the Slave Lake MLA has a second career when getting paid to be an MLA?

You know, you can always write him a letter?

I'll take a run at this, and bet you a beer that I can answer them accurately.

Did he know where his chief of staff was?
-Yes (but he may plead ignorance). He'll say it's technically not his business what his staffers do on their vacay days.

Did he endorse him going through the states vs UK?
-He didn't have specific knowledge of travel plans; again, not really his business.

Why didn't they boot them out of caucus?
-He took what he deemed to be appropriate punitive measures. Furthermore, in a tumultuous time such as this, it's not prudent to rock the boat quite so much.

Why does the slave lake have a career in addition to MLA responsibilities?
-His background and involvement in local industry made him an asset as an MLA. He gave us a commitment that he would be able to effectively manage competing priorities.

So again... where's the value add for Kenney standing in a room full of MSM journalists of questionable intelligence and integrity, giving boilerplate answers to lame (ok maybe not lame... obvious?) questions?

I think to sum up the answer to the title of the thread...

Just as stupid as your average citizen.

    Follow up, Mr. Premier.

You whined about the feds not blocking travel back in the spring. Isn't your Chief of Staff diverting through another country because flights from the UK were blocked evidence why such restrictions don't work?

I'd still like to see proof that Trudeau never travelled over Christmas.
Usually he's posting a photo op somewhere showing he's a family man over a holiday. So where is it this year?

Oh I think he’s in Canada. His wife and kids on the other hand...

Yeah that Pat Rehn guy is also a POS. Heard he was a very two-faced douchebag in the grapevine.
But agreed, Slave Lake residents were a bit hasty on voting this schmuck in.
Glad this guy is removed from caucus. He is really pure garbage.

Now he needs to GTFO as MLA.
