Yeah the dumb dumbs who travelled outside of Canada should lose their jobs, especially those who feigned being in Alberta via their social media posts. But doesn't detract we should all still keep on with the current measures to help lower numbers, just because some dumbass politicians went on vacation doesn't mean no more social distancing or lockdowns of sort.

The level of reeeeeeeeeeeeeeee on reddit over this makes my brain hurt, yeah Kenney hasn't done anything special or fantastic across the board but this isn't end of the world level shit, cry cry cry.
we've got a thread with a poll that said 1/3 of the respondants have partaken in large social gatherings and done things they shouldn't have. I wonder how many users upset in this thread over a politicians vacation has openly admitted they've ignored covid protocols. We should get everyone who responded in that other thread fired from whatever job they have. Grab the pitch forks!!

The choices people are making are hardly influenced by a politician. People are doing whatever the hell they want to do.

That 1/3 who have ignored covid rules would be higher if others wanted to openly admit.

    No we don't.

Edit: Just to be clear, we don't have a thread that says 1/3 of respondents have partaken in large social gatherings. There's no need to sensationalize that statement by adding "large" to it. Your point would be just as valid without it.

I still think recall is counter productive. You have a chance to recall every 4 years. Do you homework and figure out who to vote for.

Lol. Now I support recall if this actually happened. How does a minister being in ground 0 handling a pandemic ignore recommendation?

Allard was in ground zero as well, being the minister in charge of vaccine rollout.

Shandro and Magliocca have done shady shit in the past. If this is what gets them removed, that would be cool.
Highly unlikely though because they have no shame.

The recall legislation is currently in committee and was always slated to be implemented just before they leave office - there's not a government in the world that would introduce recall leg at the beginning of their term, too much risk.

your right its 40% of respondents saying their ignoring covid recommendations just like our politicians. 40%!! Thats a huge number.

Again i wonder how many of those people are in here blasting our politicians? Should they not lose their jobs? Where's the outrage at their ignorance?

Anyone want to be city councilor? Pretty sure anyone who decently presented and half a brain can easily take slimy Joe's seat if they put in some effort.

This goes for anything. Municipal politicians are generally not successful people.

Recall legislation is a hyper-democracy and is stupid and unnecessary. Why don't we vote daily who leads us? Just wake up every morning and push buttons to select leaders by noon because, you know, we're so fucking smart. Just drive on any road or look in any Wal-Mart to see how smart we all are and how the public should be taking way more frequent control of the democratic process.
