CAD price will likely be over $2,500. Most of my neighbours are grandmas, I have no need for 22x optical. I would need to upgrade to PRO switches to power the damn thing.

i wouldn't bother with outdoor PTZ in our climate anyway, one place i worked at in IT we were responsible for the security system and they had a giant commercial grade PTZ, heater sin it and everything, and it was always non-functional in the winter.

Yeah, I looked that up, I couldn't even power them with my current switch
Also 15 lbs with the mount which is pretty beefy. I would need to be a drug dealer before I would get those.

Yea images are clear but it’s still next to impossible to actually identify the person. Unfortunately, petty crimes aren’t going to be a priority for the police to pursue.

Oh I have no illusion that this is for anything more than my own peace of mind, at best, I might be able to catch some porch pirate or some punk kid doing stupid shit and put their picture on the community mailbox haha, just to shame the fuckers. For me it's to basically know what happened, not to catch someone for the deed.
