    Default Carpet Repair / Patching

    Looking for someone who can

    1) Cut out a square of damaged carpet
    2) Take donor carpet from a closet
    3) Patch the removed carpet and blend in seamlessly

    Any recommendations?

doing that isn't actually that hard, and you can totally DIY it. But if you find someone willing to do it, please let me know too. I have to repair some carpet as well, but it is on the stairs, and I am not capable enough to do that on my own.

It is very very easy. Watch a couple youtube videos if you're lost.

If anyone has any recommended products to use (glue/tape), post them here as well. I just used duct tape because the spot that I had to do was very out of the way, if I was doing it in a high traffic area, I would want to use the right products.

I don't doubt it's easy to do, I just don't think it's easy to do WELL, hence I'm willing to pay for expertise.

I used this guy for my rental property to stretch the entire basement carpet. He did a great job and price was very reasonable

He has a full time job so he can only work weekends or evenings but a small job like that should be fine

There is carpet tape that you can buy at Home Depot right by the shipping and duct tapes but not by the tapeworms.
