Its income based. Anyone not living in poverty will get a $350 off. You have to make less than $38K to get the full rebate. Similar to a program Denver has ran. It was a very popular program there I believe.

Talked about it in the MTB thread, but I picked up a 2022 Specialized Turbo Levo Pro a couple of months ago. I'm never going back, and I sold my 2020 Yeti SB150.

Didnt know this thread was here. Had no idea you had such a serious Ebike, very nice!

Ebike stories sound like people that don't want a challenge or see progress on biking.
Just game genie me to the hardest trail and forget the physical effort or effects of building up to something.
BAHAHAHA the hate on ebikes is hilarious and the reasons they use are beyond ridiculous.....

I think what you are describing. Is called fun.

Weird concept. But you might be surprised to hear it is a lot better than suffering.

If I never have to climb another hill on a bike, that would make for a pretty alright life.
With you 100%. I cant say enough how much fun i have on mine, its fun ripping uphill now and even better coming down because im not exhausted from the climb and im also able to do a couple laps easy out in WB

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Still loving my radmini4, using it so much more than my road bike as with the bit of cargo space on the back I can it on small treks. It’s perfect for going out for drinks and just leaving it at someone’s house to Uber home.

Overall I get about 55-60km per charge (while pedalling) at max assist. Plenty for pretty much any adventure around town. If I could nab that BC rebate I’d buy another ebike in a heartbeat to have a spare to take people on.

Anyone know a shop that will de-restrict an e-bike? We have a Cube that uses the Bosch Gen4 Smart System with the CX performance motor. Don't want to DIY just want someone to install it.

Bike shops that I talked to doesn't do mods, don't want to lose their dealer license or some shit.

    Thanks.

The new Santa Cruz Skitch is sick and would be a dope commuter… but so much for the price point coming down on these things.

There probably isn't any bike shop that will do this but it should be super easy to DIY. I have the same one as SJW and its very easy. Remove your cover and then unplug the clips from the motor, connect those to the chip and then plug the cables from the chip to the motor. They're all different connectors so you cant plug it in wrong even if you wanted. Theres a bunch of different models though so do a bit of research. Mines not the smart Bosch and there were some chips where you had to shut it down a certain way which is a pain. The Volspeed lets me just turn off as I normally would. Wait til you ride your bike at 45km/hr, its fucking fast

I was doing 60km/h in traffic the other day, downhill mind you. But was passing traffic. Almost fast enough to counter steer.

I’ve hit 65km/h on a non e-bike before. It’s sketch and not recommended haha. 45kmh is plenty.

I might take you guys up on the install offer. I have zero tools.
