Think that’s funny. Compare that number of troops with the Canadian Army.
NYC has more cops than Canada has Army members. The USA is very military heavy in all aspects.

Well that was uneventful. I guess the invasion of the USA is off then.

No violence today so that's a plus....
Plenty of antifa violence here and Portland yet again. They smashed up the DNC headquarters. I wish they would squash all of these morons.

Obviously kenney is rightly pissed, but going out and calling for sanctions if they don’t change their mind is a bit aggressive for a premier IMO. They need to be convinced and this ain’t the right way to kick it off.

    On more interesting debate.

Wtf is the president doing still flying around in a Sea King!

I mean even the Canadian Air Force got rid of those. When was the last sea king made? 1970? A helicopter that has been in service for 60 years at this point?

Biden better get on that shit, my personal recommendation is one of those bin laden assault black hawks with a flashy paint job.

They are quiet too, key for not waking the president up from his naps.

I can only imagine some of the headlines we could see down south:

‘Premier of a Canadian province desperate for pipeline approval proposes sanctions against USA’

‘Man who bet $1.5B of taxpayer money on Trump being re-elected upset that Trudeau isn’t being openly hostile to President Biden on Inauguration Day.’

‘Premier who marked how important it was for his government to get things done quickly to avoid consultation livid the President got things done quickly without consultation.’

The obvious thing for Kenney to do would be to tell Trudeau to do what they did when Obama vetoed KXL. Kenney was a cabinet minister then, first hand knowledge of effective, pro-pipeline tactics.

You dont fix what isnt broken. There isnt anything commercially made anymore that can match it, and Lockheed tried gouging the fuck out of them when they wanted a custom built fleet.

The Sea King is actually a pretty good machine, the problem Canada had with ours is that we have a shitty military who need 10x the personel to maintain an aircraft than is required.

Both Kenney and trudeau are impotent with respect to kxl. Even if Trudeau wanted to he couldn't have a significant impact either.

The canadian population's refusal to manage their own best interest is comical.

You do know who owns the railway transporting Bitumen down south? (Who had the most to lose)

This person is also a very big supporter of the Dems.

You can put the pieces together from there.

Wow. However will we live without a 48" vacuum aggressively sucking raw bitumen as fast as humanly possible making sure that the resource owner (Canada) makes as few dollars as humanly possible so that obese Americans can triple up on the value add's from bitumen to crude, to finished products, to gouging us on the resale of our own resource? How!?!??!! How will we ever recover!!?

    It's a real fucking mystery.
Except that oil will go to $80 and the CI index will rule all. Want to mix 5% H2 in with natural gas even though that's bananas from any perspective? Sign here and the govt will pay you. Want to pretend H2 transport is feasible without falling over laughing? Welcome to the board of ______. Want to gasify wood chips to offset fictional CI numbers? #SignHere
Want to pretend you can turn municipal solid waste into pyrolysis gas that isn't complete, valueless trash? Here's a govt grant!

There is still opportunity. You just have to not be the guy getting alcohol poisoning at the free NHL game to go get it...

There is opportunity in this insanity. And those willing to seize it, will benefit.

I'm going to make a wild guess. Puerto Rico will gain full state status. Native Guam will be allowed to vote on whether or not they want to be part of the USA.

Texas will try to attain independance from the USA, but fail.
