I dont disagree with her stance nor would I argue with anyone who's concerned about freedom of speech or the mob mentality. If people are afraid to speak their mind thats a major problem.

I'm genuinely curious what topics were too sensitive to discuss on radio.

She probably has another agenda but I can completely understand why people are afraid to speak their mind anymore. The amount of hate, doxing, and actualy physical violence that comes out of people disagreeing with other's opinions these days is downright scary.

I tuned in briefly to her show this morning when the topic of her leaving came up. She mentioned another "reporter" from a non traditional media asked if she was leaving due to her Islamophobia or transphobic views. She defended herself on the accusations by discussing all the guests she's had on her show and then mentioned this is exactly why she's leaving as many media like to twist things and make stuff up.

She asked people to keep in touch with her via her website and inform her if they see accusations like that pop up.

Look how ryan jespersen lost his job recently. He called a city employee a monkey or chimpanzee and he was fired that day.

Jespersen’s departure follows a dispute with Edmonton city councillor Mike Nickel over comments the radio show host said regarding city staff. Nickel said on Twitter he took issue with his staff being called chimpanzees on the show.

“You can call me chimpanzee all you want, I don’t care but you do not get to go after my staff,” Nickel said in a video posted to Twitter on Saturday. “You do not get to call them names, you do not get to make them feel intimidated, or trying to intimidate them for working for me. Mr. Jespersen, your behaviour is unacceptable and abhorrent.”

I didn't mind the clips of Danielle's show that I listened to. She always seemed to have interesting questions and guests... but I sure hope she stays out of any level of politics after that shit she pulled!

She failed as a school trustee, as a party leader, and as an MLA. Might as well take a crack at council or parliament to go for a grand slam of political failure.

'the mob' (public social media) is now mostly a collection of bots and algorithms, designed to increase the vitriol for any topic or post, on a public SM feed, that is deemed by the tech companies to be against their narrative or interest.

This is why I advocate following only people you personally know, and ignore the rest.

I don't think she was any worse as far as that goes. Literally the only successful political strategy in every part of the political spectrum.

Agree her political resume is not that impressive in hindsight. Don't know enough to say how much that harms her future options.
