Aren't traditional folding chairs the fold flat ones?

Haha, well I suppose your right. I'd def rock a pair of those sweet vintage ones though, lol.

I was referring to the umbrella-style ones that fold into the little bag - That's what I think of when someone says camping chair.

My dad has one of these. They're super weird. Makes you feel like you're gonna fall backwards all the time.

One of my previous trailers came with some gear including a loveseat like that. Nice idea, we used it until it broke, but I don't think I'd pay money for one.

I have two walk-in tent sites at gooseberry campground up for grabs for May 21-23 (2 nights) if anyone is interested. I’m probably going to cancel them by the end of the week

As soon as they restock, they sell out. There is apparently some Costco group on Facebook and they post when they are in, which causes a rush.

Very comfy chairs, warm as well because of the padding and dry out very quickly if they get wet
Yup what FraserB said. I was able to pick up a couple just now at Sunridge actually. I showed up at 9:30 and there were 6 left, all gone by the time I checked out.

Would suggest to show up at 9am in middle of week like Tuesday-thurs and you should be able to find them. Max 2 per visit.

FCFS is beautiful this time of year, I suggest Cataract Creek. Or you can phone AB parks and see what's up for reservations. There are methods.

Their system is mega fucked currently, you cant call and get a reservation as they dont have access to what is currently booked.

Paying $12 reservation fee for camping in may (other then may long) is a waste of time. Everywhere that is open will have a pile of available spots. I camped two friday nights ago and 4 of 30 spots were full. Its gonna be cold regardless, might as well go to a FCFS

Don’t know if the rumors are true but I heard they may reduce campground capacity to 50% and canceling reservations

Do all reserved spots not currently booked default to first come while system is out?

Epidemiology is too hard for this gov't and the rest of Canada to figure out.
