I dont like hauling water because its too heavy. What I do is get one of those 30L green containers from canadian tire and then fill up at the potable water spout and empty it into my fresh water. Takes about 30 mins depending on how far away the tap is in the campground. Our fresh water tank is approx 80L.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Aren't most of the taps marked not for drinking water? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Except for the ones that are for drinking water yea

As far as Crimson campground and lake day use area they all are potable I think - High pressure water lines. Theres no signs there. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Usually if its non potable it would tell you. And I trust that in a campground if it has no sign that means its safe - especially considering all the tent trailers and tents in general.
At Sibbald Lake Campground the site has a note:
Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water. So yeah I guess fill up at a station.

Snagged a powered site at kinbrook island for next weekend, anyone know if the showers and flush washrooms are open?
Yes they've been open for a while, even before restrictions were lifted.
Any recommendations for campgrounds in cypress hills, Im looking for september long weekend - seems most of the powered sites that have trees are already taken.
I've driven through Reesor Lake Campground and quite liked it. The spots I thought were best seem to be reserved already, but site #1 would be my choice of the available ones. The lake is MUCH quieter than Elkwater, but also colder, and more waspy.

WASPy or waspy?
What you did there. I see it.

So, no one's gonna post a Cypress Hill video?! Do I have to do everything?
It's right there for the taking even combined with a joke about "You better be ready" or "We ain't goin out like that".
Riding the massive trail network in Cumberland and area.
What kind of bizarre camping is that

Good choice on the tent. Coleman pop up is the best I’ve ever used. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
You're doing it wrong. Camping is supposed to be about replicating all the things you have at your home, just shittier. You can then pretend to escape your existence for a weekend. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
