Well shit. I stand corrected then
Anyways, anyone still looking for those chairs, they are online right now in a 2 pack. Go go go @Buster

I tried them out in my living room and they are amazing. I was planning on getting those muskoka chairs for around my fire pit but I’m thinking I’ll just use these instead.

It needs to be high enough to stop poor people from doing it at a minimum. Then anyone who still chooses to do it is at least funding something. I suggest an endowment for parks improvements, or deposited into the Heritage fund.
I've got some ideas for simple changes to the heritage fund too . . . .

When this happens your time on the site is done. You'll have to refresh and you'll end up back in the queue. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I stopped caring and started drinking. I have plenty of days booked. I will worry about upgrades later.

Managed to get bow valley, bow river, and chain lakes all on weekends. No trailer yet though.
Congratulations on the spots. I've never been to Bow River. Post pics when you go.

Back from our first trip out. You can definitely tell there's a lot of noobs out there. Instead of the usual one or two late night car horn blips, there were alarms going off all over the place. Also a person who didn't seem to know how to use a circuit breaker (on the sites plug). And loads of dogs roaming free, which is always a great idea in rattlesnake country.

I look forward to tenting with the multiple car alarms going off.
Its only the beginning of the season. I expect it to get much much worse. I also think the RV related traffic accident stats are going to sky rocket too. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Went to Brewers Campground on Gull Lake over the weekend, nice campsite, have another weekend booked there later this summer and happy to go back. All sites are non-powered so there were quite a few folks running generators but most were respectful. 1 year old trailer battery shit the bed so we were without heat the first night but other than that and some exceptionally awful fuel mileage it was a great weekend.
Parks website is worse then ever.. no reset at 9 am, "Number of users in line ahead of you: 795, The line is paused." Have been in line since 8:15 am.. Why TF do i have to wait to cancel a booking.. so dumb
Website is sure slower, even once you do get inside. And crashes regularly now as well. Good Jorb Team!

The main site was clearly contracted out, these changes are being done in-house and whoever they hired to do it are incompetent. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There are very, very few good SPA developers in Alberta so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I need to cancel a site as a couple cant make it for this weekend but its impossible right now.
Good, that’ll stop the sliding for sure.
Spot next to us was empty all weekend. Maybe because of this, or maybe because people are generally assholes who won't cancel a restaurant reservation, let alone a camp site.
It was the weirdest thing though. All the massive sites for 40 foot trailers, and Class A types were filled with Subarus and tents, and the smallest sites meant for tents and tent trailers had 30'ers on them.
I would be completely forgoing the rest of camping season if it weren't for our dog.
