    Default Travelling to Turkey

I'm wanting to travel to Turkey within the next month and from what I understand that the only thing I need to do is provide a covid free test 3 days before boarding the plane to Turkey and provide a test showing i'm covid free 3 days before I depart back to Canada.

Anyone confirm if I'm missing anything here? Seems pretty easy

Yep, that's what I gathered too. Nobody is accepting anyone from the UK.

Unless you're connecting through the US.

The only part you're missing is the test at the airport when you get back, then self quarantine until results are back, then another test.

This totally sounds like a good idea.

Anyways, you'll want to ensure you can get a covid test with a 3 day turnaround before your trip home. I have no idea what the protocols are like in Turkey, but I know some (probably lots of) other places right now a foreigner has just about zero chance of getting a test and result in a 72h window... meaning you won't be able to get on a plane home.

Well its no secret that i'm going to get hair transplants done and I believe the clinic would help get the tests for clients coming from out of country..well at least that what the clinic said.

A 3 day layover in US before coming home? I'm sure PCR test should be widely available.

Believe it or not, I had no idea that you, some random internet stranger, was travelling across the world for hair transplants. If the clinic is guaranteeing your test for the trip home, that's obviously ideal. I still think it's a silly thing to be doing international travel now, but that's just me.

Seems like a good contingency plan, albeit a pain in the ass.

You didn't get the memo obviously. If you travel you deserve to lose your job and be publicly shamed.

We can all have flowing Killy locks like your avatar.

Heck , i think its the perfect time to go for a hair transplant. By the time everyone goes back to offices full time, I'd have a thick full head of hair!

Turkey is the place to go if you want to travel... but still pretty messed up to be traveling during this 2nd wave spike across the world to get hair implants. I'm not sure if people understand that even if you test negative before your trip the risk lies in all the interactions along your trip...flights, restaurants, taxis, hotels and everything else.
