I just left Turkey a couple of weeks ago. I didn't need anything to enter from Bulgaria but things are always changing so who knows. Based on this site (which is by no means official), you would need a negative PCR: https://canitravel.net/countries/tur...assport=canada

Don't forget to get your e-visa ahead of time. https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/

Turkey has been taking COVID quite seriously lately but at the same time, they've made a lot of exceptions for tourists (i.e. no curfew, restaurants in hotels open, etc.). Most hotels will use a "loophole" and check you in for the night (without payment for the room) just in case the cops check so you can use their restaurant/bar.

I'd still be careful as there are a huge number of cases around but I'm all about finding balance during this time as far as being cautious (mask, distancing, etc.) and still living life.

Hotels are quite cheap now. I had a top floor room at Galataport Hotel for only 13 Euros/night and spent 2+ weeks there. Not the nicest hotel or anything but the views were epic and the reception chick was pretty cute.

I'd highly recommend picking up some hand-made looped towels from here as well: https://jennifershamam.webflow.io/ The company was started by a Canadian gal and was recommended to me by expat friends who have been living in Istanbul for 5-years. I bought $200+ in towels and am very happy with them.

Turkey was one of my favorite trips ever, 3 weeks backpacking around the country. The sights, the food, the people, was all amazing

That's Pide - basically pizza with different ingredients and in a different shape.

Turkish food is excellent, particularly when you find a good breakfast spread full of cheeses and lebneh and such. All of the mezzes are great and they grill delicious meats as well.
