Was toying with classic ribeye cut vs tomahawks… but they didn’t have the tomahawks in the “gold” grade, so that was an easy choice
Is this the deals thread or overpay for shit flex?

Pretty smokin deal on AAA striploins at save on. Not my pic, saw it on social media. This was the trans Canada plaza on 52nd st/16 ave location, not sure if the deal is at all of them. Also superstore had a similar price but only AA

Costco also has $35 off full tenderloins.

Haven’t seen any good deals on rib eyes in so long…hopefully soon

Almost had to mug an old Asian lady in the parking lot that was clearing out the entire cooler at the McLeod/heritage location… managed to grab a handful though

    Depends what you’re into…

“OMg ThEsE BoIlEd RiBs faLL oFf tHe BoNE” - just buy a fucking shoulder and do pulled pork

For ribs, St. Louis is THE cut. No, they are not as meaty as backs (cause they cut backs these days with half the loin still attached), but they are the proper cut for BBQ. Full sides are useless, as there is too much cartilage in them, so you’ll want to cut them down to St. Louis anyways

    This.

Personally I like how meaty back ribs are, but the uniform cut of the St Louis ribs makes it ideal for BBQ i think - more even cook and easy to cut after. Great price. Hopefully there will still be stock left when I go.
