When I was in the market for a full size suv in 2014 I looked at the QX vs Sequoia vs Armada and the Armada is the only one that takes regular. With 105L tank the difference adds up pretty quickly. The Armada is a wicked suv and really great on gas. Can get to Edmonton and back on 1 tank of gas including driving around in Edmonton. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. I put Blizzaks on the OEM 20s and bought aftermarket rims for summer.

I know you already bought 18's but a set of 22" OEM QX80 take offs would look nice on it....

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
AT's on the OEM 20" rims all year round...
2011 Ram 1500 QC Sport
2017 Jeep Cherokee Limited
That seems almost too good to be true for a vehicle of that size. Is that on board trip computer, or have you actually done the math? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
My wife's RDX gets mid 14s/100 in mostly city driving, and 10-11/100 on the highway IIRC. And it's a micro machine compared to that SUV, in every respect.
im just going by the trip computer. I havent done the math recently. I also don't highway drive very often without towing.
I always use stock for winter tires and a nice aftermarket wheel for my summers. Currently on my sierra I'm running the stock 20" for winter and 24" for summer
Meh, it's a shitty 2009 Murano. Wife doesn't care what it really looks like, and I hardly ever drive it. Plus if there's any damage, the factory rims are still good. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
RTX rims on the Expedition for the winter, wife wants something nice and fun for the Summers...she loves the Fuel Hardline with the blue details, which I'm also drawn to
On the little truck, it gets stock wheels with studded winters (because rwd race truck) and then something Bronze for the summer (bronze + flame blue = )
Factory 20" wheels for the winter on my wife's Grand Cherokee and some nicer wheels for the summer making the assumption most people do that the winters will take more of a beating than the summers. Then she curbs the summer wheels... Sometimes I wonder why I try.
Yup my RDX agreesThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I have been running some OEM rims from my previous Cayenne. I don't love the look of the 18's especially as the summers are 21's, but they are fine. I would like to get 19's sometime in the future, maybe when this rubber runs out.
I won't talk about fuel economy at the risk of getting tarred and feathered like A790 re. his Saab (hope I am remembering the car right).
The higher suspension setting to get through some of the snowy mess from a few weeks ago... usually sits more flush with way less wheel gap.
