I don’t think they throttle. It’s just luck of the draw, if your tower is saturated or not because of other users.
They do "Smart Hub Internet Traffic Management"
    https://www.telus.com/en/bc/support/...agement-policy

...i.e. throttling? Unless I'm missing something, which could certainly be the case.

I think Killramos is right, either I go out and test it myself at a couple times of day. Alternatively, could get in touch with a neighbour who's already got it (I know of one) and ask them to run a couple periodic speed tests.

If nothing else works locally (eg. Xplornet) , maybe both ROGERS and TELUS hubs and see if using both (balanced), does the trick? Also with these hubs, someone (different thread) mentioned using an LTE band booster - which can definitely assist with low signal.

Contact Telus with your legal land description, and get them to check what DSL services they can offer if you're just outside town. It's a pain in the ass to do, it took Telus 3 weeks to figure out and get back to me. But I ran DSL and the hub for a little while. A whopping 6mbps DSL, but hey no data caps

Already done. Can get their Internet 6 package, which it sounds like you had. haha
