Anything can be forgotten and forgiven if you can transform yourself and commit to the social justice values, well at least make them believe it. But make no mistake if they find out that you are a fraud, you'll have to repeat with twice the effort!

Brian Jean is off to a very predictable start.
From his social media:
"There can only be one UCP candidate. Jason Kenney's people don't want it to be me. They are pushing a Nigerian economist who lives in Fort McMurray," referring to candidate Joshua Gogo, who is also seeking the UCP nomination.
What a visionary leader. Think of the problems he will be able to solve.

ha, yes, of course it was. Glad the guy who's going to be running for leadership is in such control of his day to day
It's been a big week in Alberta politics
- Minister of Education needed to take out a part of the curriculum documents that would require people learning about the good things the Nazis did (for the economy, which in itself is a myth, but that's the least of the problems) if presented with the bad things to show balance.
- The required 22 UCP constituency associations have passed the request for a leadership review and Kenney is trying to change the rules to increase the necessary number to 28. This is causing people to turn, including Kenney's own comms director from his leadership campaign for trying to undermine one of the party's core values
- And they finally caved and accepted the feds deal for cheap childcare; starting with fees expected to be cut in half starting next year to $10/day (means tested $10-25/day range) by 2026

Better dust off the UCP membership and vote
I think UCP memberships and voting in the leadership race are things most Albertans shoukd be interested in.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

You should have to pass a conservatism test to obtain UCP membership.

An interesting idea, but likely not feasible. Honestly, if you want to have a say in the direction Alberta is taking, a vote in the UCP leadership race is probably more worthwhile than your vote in the next provincial election. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I’m trying to avoid another Redford or Scheer situation.

By signing up more Kenny voters hardcore in the next UCP leadership vote. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Won't be surprise a surge in UCP membership again right before the vote, just like how BJ lost last time.
