Default Garage full - where to store bike?

For those of you that don't have the luxury of an oversized/triple garage, how do you store your motorcycles?

Shed in the backyard? Park at a buddy's place? Leave it on the driveway?

Behind the summer car parked in the garage. I've also had it right up against the wall, between the wall and the passenger door of the summer ride.

I really shouldn't be saying this, because I have a oversized triple
but I've always been able to move things around the garage to tuck my bike away somewhere.
there was one year, I put it up against the wall of the garage, and parked my truck right next to it, the amount of room needed to open the doors of the truck was the same amount the bike needed.
I find putting the bike on a stand helps make it's footprint a lot smaller; its not always leaning on one side

Sideways in front of the car for winter time since I don't need access to it. Or sometimes besides the car right against the wall up by the cars front fender. Sucks cuz then the passenger always has to go around the back but eh not a big deal.

Damn, maybe my garage layout could use some changing up.

I'm hard-pressed to find any extra room to put it in. I have a big workbench that I could take out in lieu of a bike.

So overall, it's pretty tight in terms of space?

Every time I've thought something couldn't fit in the garage, there was always a way haha.

Even in a standard garage there is enough room for a bike in front or beside the cars unless your vehicles are enormous. I get that you probably have a lot of other stuff in there though.

If anything I would store less valuable items elsewhere and keep the bike in the garage.

Aside from that, chances are you know someone with room who you could pay $100/mo or something for storage.

in front of the car, against the wall. I have it on the side stand but I think a front wheel stand would create more space. I'm looking for a solution to mount my bicycle on the wall as I have no room for that.

Spit on it first. You'll be surprised where it will fit.

There's really not much options other than sideways in front of the cars. Sacrifice or downsize the workbench or make one of those fancy rolling ones with extendable wings and pull one of the cars out when needed. Also buy or make a dolly so you can move the bike around easier when needed. It sucks having a small garage and you can barely see any wall in my garage including the ceiling cause I have it packed full and still park two cars in there.

I had to cut down my work bench when I had the Harley which also forced me to make other storage for the shit I would just put all over the bench. I found that by focusing on storage for other shit I found just enough to fit the bike up against the wall. Otherwise storage in a buddies garage.

Both of mine are locked away in the shed at my fiance's place. Both have wheel locks on them,,and are in a locked and secured shed.

I was contemplating something like a backyard shed and just putting it in there.

How many things do you have taking up floor space that could go up?
Like a pedal bicycle, tires, boxes of crap... put everything to the ceiling, including over the door space.

I've had absolutely no problems with storing a modern bike outside, on a rear stand, battery removed (kept inside) and bike covered. Comes out in the spring as clean and fresh as the day it was put away. I even put a concrete pad just for the front tire.

This would be a pricey solution. I know a few have been used in Calgary. Not sure what type of reinforcements would be required on the walls. But a cool idea for winter storage.

Build a display case in your office at work and store it there over the winter.
