Would stick.
Sorry, I didn't word that very well. What I meant to say is that people get all in a bunch when an AHS top level executive pay is that of a VP's at mid-size E&P, but they have responsibility for the the largest employer in the province, who are responsible for a $23B budget, and are providing an essential service. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Public sector jobs shouldn't have anywhere equivalent salaries as the private sector.

The point is that they would need to in order to attract talent capable of managing organizations/budgets of that size. But people like you would never let that happen, so here we are. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
edit: the irony is shelling out for some capable leadership, and giving them the power to optimize the organization (i.e. lay off all the lazy fucks and bloated mid management) would likely result in net savings for taxpayers.

How many public sector employees have been laid off in the last year? There should be tangible cost for the extreme job security. This is basically right across the board, probably not on the entry level or top executive level
You can pay for the highest qualified person on the planet, but they still can't optimize or reorganize anything effectively because union.
So might as well pay a dog $1 to run AHS?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Starting to see more and more jobs popping up, especially in the tech world. Not nearly enough to offset the major job losses but its a small sliver of hope for the Calgary job market.
