Turkey cancelled for now, france moved up and double austria. If they want to try sprint race, should probably be one of the two races in austria I would think.
Fuck that. Indy lost me when it seemed like more than half their races were run at Oval tracks. I don't have a mullet, and I don't intend to grow one. I used to just not tune in to the Indy500 race and go watch my grass grow in the yard instead. But when I'm watching more grass grow than race days, it was time to tune out. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If you want more "excitement" from F1. Pay more attention to the mid field. There is some really great conflicts, stories, and competition going on there this year. Obviously I'd love to see Max stomp down Lewis at every race this year, but even if he doesn't, I still love the mid field action going on.

yes, that's a good point. I think I need to alter how I view the races so that I can see more midfield. Is in-car the only way to do that? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

That was great. Hilarious how they all saw Hungary 2019 unraveling. An interesting watch is the sakir one. It shows rbr and merc roles reversed.

has anyone gone to the F1 in Austin?
I'm thinking about going down with my 9 year old this year but don;'t know the best place for seats, etc.
I went in 2014. The shuttle line up sucked. Also getting out of the parking lots took a couple hours so be prepared for that. I had grandstand seats at Turn 5 and I was able to see turns 2/3/4/5/6 and 12/13/14/15/16 from where I was (5 is at a higher elevation part). I'd say anything from turns 3-11 would be good since it's generally on higher ground and you can see a bunch of the track. Its also nice being able to walk around and then come back to a grandstand during the race. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I went in 2019. They do check you through security so if I am remembering correctly, you can't take booze with you. For seats, any grand stands are going to be good but Turns 12 and 15 would be the best imo (other than 1 where the race starts of course). Turn 12 has massive straights and 15 has tough corners so lot of action to watch when vehicles slow down. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Question about tyre allocation:
The hard/medium/soft label is all relative, right? Like this weekend it's C3/C4/C5 but next year it could be C1/C2/C3, meaning the C3 is the hard compound this year, but is the soft next year?
