Happy to see them back at the factory.

I hope that Merc will have a Winner in 2022.
They put all their focus on 2022 car and hope it pays off.
Anyone remember Brawn GP? Theres potential these new regs shuffle the entire grid. Which is good, cause we dont want to see another decade of Merc dominance. Hopefully its a bit closer and more competitive with the cost caps.

Even Max's own fascial expressions show he knows he didn't earn it.

Yes I remember the Brwan GP Team
There is a real possibility that the order may be reshuffled.

‘Member when F1 was about going around a track as fast as possible and advancing technology through R&D to get there?

Fuck the poor teams they can compete in Indy or something.

F1 2022 is on track to just be a soap opera

I guess they need to add some entertainment to get more and more people into the sport otherwise it’d be like NASCAR which as far as I am concerned is a dying breed. I suppose DTS and all those things are a way to add a bit of drama and attract more fans - which it appears to have worked quite well.

I love touring car racing...I've been watching it since I was a little kid. Great racing, lots of drama, lots of soap opera.

Hamilton was going to retire if he got number 8. Now he wants to go because he doesn't want to get exposed that it's been all car in his time at Mercedes especially with the regs changing. A lot of other drivers on the grid could have done the same in that car.

Its funny how the internet swings from opinion to opinion.

Hamilton and MB saga is old news, now Reddit's all on the George hate train.

Guy who is in 15th in world champ goes on a rant about something that he a) isnt involved in; and b) is full on brown-nosing for his future team. I lost quite a bit of respect for george there

Admittedly I don't know much about Lewis' dating life though I do know he used to date Nicole Sherzinger (spl) in the past - the Pussycat Dolls hottie.

I am not a big fan of Kelly either though (Max's beau) and she has a past and a kid with Kuvyat (spl) and rumours are that she left him and moved over to Max cause he was shit, but I am sure that's not the complete truth and their personal lives aren't our concern.

Also, I don't care much for Lewis taking a stand on big social issues either, that being said, I certainly don't hate the guy for using his high-up position in the sport to try to act as a role model and bring light to unfortunate circumstances of our world.

All that being said, overall my assessment is that Lewis is a nice guy and Max is a douche - strictly based on behaviour over the years, though a lot can be attributable to Max's young age and immaturity that comes with it. But his fucking face is smug as fuck purely aesthetically speaking. lol
Actions trump attitude for me. Lewis might be the nicest guy, but when he openly espouses his support for racist terrorist organizations that strive for the belittlement of mainly black people, but everyone else as well, with his "platform". Well then fuck that guy. I realize it is probably all blind ignorance on Hamiltons part, but that's not an excuse I accept when it comes to things like this with such enormous ramifications. Totally agreed that Max looks and acts like a smug cocksucker though, but he isn't Hamilton and that's all that mattered this year.

I really hope Merc can break ties with Hamilton and bring in some fresh blood. They are definitely my favorite team, would be great to cheer for them for a change.

Oh and as for that Kelly Piquet. Ya'll are a bunch of fucking liars. I google imaged her after everyone here mentioning how hot she was. Don't get me wrong, I've done a lot worse. But when it's me the big dumb oil worker from Alberta, vs the new F1 WDC. There's no reason I should win the battle of who has the hottest wife.

Some people use the platform to make more money for themselves, others use it to advocate for positive change. Vettel was advocating for the same thing as Hamilton in Saudi Arabia, but I don't see you anybody hating on him for it. As long as they speak intelligently to the issue, I don't see a problem with it. The same choice he has in lobbying for change is the same choice we have in whether to listen to him or ignore him.
Can't say I've ever seen Vettel rocking any BLM attire. So no, they were not advocating for the same things. Vettel certainly has a much better approach to trying to spread his message. But he is down a peg in my books for his political stunts. He just hasn't been advocating for me to digging ditches in the gulag, so I don't have near the same disdain for Vettel. Honestly it's a pretty black and white comparison you're trying to make.

I wanted RBR to win the Championship but I'm supportive of Merc protesting as well.

The season was filled with inconsistent calls and drama which have the potential to make the sport more WWE than UFC.

Hopefully by Merc protesting they'll clean things up in 2022 with stricter track limits, clearer definitions of "dive-bombing" and when and outside driver should be given space vs. required to yield, at least one race steward who moves with the teams from track to track with the primary goal of achieving consistent applications of penalties, etc.
This is the dream. One can hope.

I really enjoyed the Tudor series. But I lost interest when Viper pulled their team out after winning the whole thing.

They were both advocating for LGBTQ+ rights in Saudi.

That will be shitty without him making it 8 but wouldn't blame him after the fuckery that was pulled. I guess we just wait and see what happens over the next little while. I really doubt he will retire especially if it makes Toto/Merc is going to be getting screwed in some way as they seem to be close but I guess time will tell.
