Happy for Russel, though I am sure a part of him will always feel like it wasn't a truly earned first podium but maybe that's what he needed tot kick his bad luck.

They refuel quite often as the safety and medical cars really only have enough fuel capacity to do 15 or so laps at full tilt.

Back in 2007 the CLK BS safety car was low on fuel from a SC period and another SC was called for Kubica crash as it was refueling. So a temporary Honda Civic Si safety car came out.

More likely to ensure that contractual commitments to sponsors are fulfilled and ticket fees don't have to be refunded to fans since there was a "race".
