For those of you with a USD credit card and like me were irritated at paying a fee last year to not use the card, I told my account manager to cancel the card as I didn't want to pay the renewal again this year. She said "well what about your points" to which I replied that I just ordered some gift cards and so wasn't going to lose much so please just cancel. Anyway, she talked to the branch manager and they offered to pay for the renewal so I didn't have to cancel.

Only $45 US but I will take what I can.

I highly suggest the 5 minute call if anyone else is in a similar situation.
