It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

I bought this one because I wanted the space to actually cook chicken strips and fries for the kiddos. Believe it or not the grill feature with thermo works amazingly well. Zero complaints.

Canadian tire puts them on sale for 50% off on the regular, I got it for at $189 in December. I kept my old ninja as well.

The inside of that one my wife picked is 8x9x10 inches. It's a rectangular prism shape. Has two trays or can run the rotating basket. Don't think I'd want anything smaller.

For sure it has met and exceeded my expectations, which were quite low.

    My parents have this one:

    https://www.ninjakitchen.ca/products...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

It's pretty awesome. And tilts up when not in use to free up counter space. It does all normal air fryer stuff well, and other stuff I didn't expect (e.g., use as a griddle to make pancakes or grilled cheese). Would recommend.

Just got my first air fryer. The purpose is to speed up cooking and cleaning. 2 little kids. I plan to get some perforated parchment paper liner, as I'm told they make clean up even faster.

Got a 9.5L, dual. $300, but it was marked down to $250 for some reason at canadian tire. Online price was still $300, weird, but good for me. I'll try it out tonight.

I had that one. Worked really well for the most part. Only downside was it couldn’t fit singular really large things that a quesadilla or similar.

I can see that happening. Luckily, these things are so cheap, I'll buy a big single for $120 if I need, or use my oven haha.

No really new info, not changing my mind about benefits or drawbacks. Just a great headline.

    No action required.

I still hate that it's called an air fryer, but god damn do we use ours a lot. Ended up picking up the same one as my parents have ( https://www.ninjakitchen.ca/products...E&gclsrc=aw.ds ), which has been just great. And isn't as ugly of an appliance to have on the counter in comparison to most other air fryers.

Cheaper than a full size convection oven. Ours gets used almost daily.

We have a similar breville, which I also love.

But that's not an air fryer, and doesn't do air fryer things like a real one does. An air fryer actually circulates heat in a specific way that dual purpose ones like this ninja do not. The countertop ovens are really just small convection ovens, which they realized they could call "air fryers".

I fought my wife on this for so long, and to my disappointment we won a Ninja dual-zone air fryer at a xmas party raffle. I was both in the right and in the wrong about it. Terrific tool for cooking everyday things very quickly BUT also a gateway appliance for junkfood that we wouldn't normally eat because it crisps things like an oven can't.

Which we do most of the time (slightly crispy broccoli is delicious). But then I end up also eating some fried foods I haven't touched since working as a cook over twenty years ago, or saving take-out leftovers that used to get dumped because who wants to eat soggy next day fries? Now I'm eating fries two days in a row.

i hate the place it takes up on my counter, but as a house of 2 we definitely use the airfryer probably 10-to-1 vs the regular oven

Interesting, I didn't know that. When this one gives up I'll have to shop around a little more. Given how much we use it, its probably worth spending more for a good one.
