Hilariously I have received 2 official and contrary sets of instructions re WFH.

I’ve concluded that therefore I can do whatever I want.
you were already on that program.

I’ll admit. WFH is a very different experience today when my wife and child aren’t here

You need your own dedicated room as an office.

    Better or worse?

WFH sucks without my wife/kids. She makes me food and keeps the dogs quiet, and the kids de-stress me between meetings.

Fake news, we've seen your schedule in the watch thread, you don't have breaks between meetings.

Better. When my wife and kid are here it just means me taking care of them AND working.

I have a dedicated floor. Does that count?

I'm sure there's a flooring joke to be made, but you can't trick me into making it today.

Gonna take a week off at end of month to catch up on videogames. Noone on the planet seems to want to be working nowadays, and I fully concur.

Meanwhile us IT guys get to undo the undoing of everyone coming back to work for a few weeks, still nowhere near the amount of chaos it was in March 2020.

Office confirmed that WFH is never happening again and all staff are still required to be in-office full time. However, on Monday all staff must either prove they are fully vaccinated, agree to a vaccination plan with HR, or get terminated.

I've heard rumblings of some pretty major O&G companies mandating vaccinations starting soon. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

We have been required to submit records, there hasn’t been much dialogue on what happens if you refuse or aren’t vaccinated yet though.

Wow that's aggressive. First company I've heard doing that

I've heard from quite a few people that this is the case at their place of work. Maybe not in that short of time line but look at places like Westjet.

Company I work for is a relatively small start-up (~10 people). All of which are vaxxed.

Great commute into DT this morning.

We've already turned on a dime, back to campus for all on Monday, restriction exemption program in full effect.

My company abandoned their return to office plans indefinitely. I didn't realize the mandatory vaccines thing rolling out so quickly amongst companies

It's definitely aggressive time-wise, but I suspect we'll see this being commonplace.
