The plan released end of July was to return September 7th, twice a week. Tuesday's and Thursday's in the office, the other 3 days from home. This was to go on until early 2022 where it would then be re-evaluated. Just this week they said they are pushing that to first week of November, here in Canada and the US offices, because of the rising numbers.

WFH or not doesn't impact one those activities listed.
Well yes, but I always feel so dirty afterwards.

My company had 3 floors in a DT building pre-covid.
They've crunched it down to 2 floors, and are using a hot-desk plan where you register and get a random desk when you show up for the day.
At my company, our office reno for the hot-desks are going to take the rest of 2021, meaning there is no return-to-office option for us until 2022. And then, I expect very few ppl will return to the office full time. The commute it too terrible in comparison to working from home.

WFH was supposed to change to one day per week in the office Sept 7th, followed by 50% office time starting in January. The Sept 1 day a week has now been pushed to October and that will likely get pushed back as well.

You need masks to go into an office building?
Ok. Elevator lobby if you want to be technical about it.

Agreed, lots of people would walk their dogs at lunch before WFH.

We just moved into a super nice office space.

Work DT 3-4 days/ week. Relatively flexible.

Tentatively moving into Brookfield on the 7th; although, we have an "update" coming on Monday that could push it back.

From there, 3 days in office, 2 WFH going forward.

Back to office full-time since Aug 3. No WFH flexibility now or expected in the future. Big O&G, no surprise.

Can work 3 days from home after the long weekend.

My office has a large portion of Pro-Disease people so will be interesting to see what happens with increased cases.

At my office, it's all in-person working. While to some degree I could probably work from home, most of my team is involved in product fulfillment and they need to be in the warehouse/office. Which means I need to be too...

LOL my fucking office was being pushed so hard to be full RTO as of the 30th and now less than 24 hours we have had 2 active cases in the office.

I know 2 facts... 1 case was from last week but not sure the 2nd. 1 case was vaccinated and the other case was not.

    Great job

I wonder how long until workplaces no longer react to cases? That point must be coming soon.

There's cases every day in my office somewhere in the tower. "No community spread... Keep coming back to office!"
Kids aren't seen at school yet. It'll blow quickly!

I mean, while it'd be nice to have fewer cases, I think that a case in your workplace is no longer the big deal it used to be, right? That was the point of the vaccinations, I think.

it's been about 3 weeks since "full" RTO for us. No requirement for masks in office, except if you stand up to work at your cubicle (low cubicle walls... 5.5 feet?). No cases / reports in the office yet. No one uses the meeting rooms, but instead continues with Teams from our desks.

In our office we have to sign a attestation for saying if vaccinated you are responsible for your actions but if you aren't you wear a mask.

Now that we had 2 cases in less than a week compared to nothing in a year.. something isn't working.

And considering they stopped testing unless you show symptoms... someone could be but nobody would know.

Full RTO back in mid-July, no options for WFH or hybrid schedule unless you have a note from your doctor saying you have to WFH. Completely back to normal with full meeting room use, etc. Recent Covid uptick has led them to introduce a mask-wearing policy while in the office, and meanwhile they are hiring a whole slate of temps for the next 3 months so they are doubling-up cubicles and offices in an attempt to fit everybody. Some folks have offered to WFH to ease the space crunch and were denied.

Wife's company was planning to do a hybrid schedule after the long weekend (1 wk in office, 1 wk WFH) but now they may just stay WFH until next year.
