    I've put LED's in reflector housing in my past 4 cars and never had a single flash at me.... the newer leds are designed for reflector housings and they work great

    Ya it's a really cool build. He's supercharged with a massive big brake kit. Very helpful guy.

    As mentioned, the newer style LEDs work fine in Halogen housings....i fitted some to the expedition last week and tried to take before and after shots but they came out looking like fuck all! haha

    I went with the CLD, and whilst they weren't the cheapest ones, I've so far been impressed and the beam scatter looked pretty normal. They come with the resistor and stuff all built in to avoid "bulb out" warnings so it's literally a 5-min plug & play job (well on the Expedition you've gotta take out the whole friggin housing but whatever)

    Another thing that @tirebob can get from the suppliers if anyone was interested in a group buy lol!
