I think the only new cars that come with an available manual that I'd be interested in are that new Cadillac CTBlackwing5VSport or a Camaro ZL1/1LE, if GM still makes those. In both of those I'd probably have a long look at the 10 speed automatic though. The last manual I had, I was bored to tears driving it around.

The automatic would have to be pretty bad for me to not consider it tbh. Probably an unpopular opinion.

For some reason I can see ES in a golf R manual.

It’s a good sleeper type car.

Civic type R is fabulous though.

Will the new Nissan 400Z come in manual? It should be good, fun and affordable!

I am sure the $50K Civic R is still on the top list for fun manual car ...

    M2, GT3 ... GT4 ... should be nice too!
The new 400z is the old 350z, so ya, itll have a manual

Not available until 2022. They have confusingly diluted the V brand similarly to AMG and M, as someone else mentioned, the fast option with the stick is V Blackwing for the CT4 and CT5.

I’m looking forward to the magazine results where the Cadillac crushes the Germans on the track.
The hybrids are arriving before that happens.

Just been dreaming of buying a "fun" vehicle, and the more I think of that, the more I think I'd want a manual transmission. Bronco with the manual sounds fun. BMW 2 series might be the most fun small sporty car with manual. Camaro or Mustang, although I somehow can't see myself in one despite being the right demographic.

What brand new vehicle with a manual transmission has got your brain tickled? Doesn't have to be one you'd buy, otherwise I'd have to stay out of it and you know I can't.
SCG004S - and I have one on order.

Really curious what the real world feel of the hepatic touch will be like.

New GT3 dips under 7 minutes on the Nürburgring (long track). They probably did it in the PDK but the fact you can get a manual, NA motor that revs to 9k is so awesome.

The CTR is the best manual transmission I have experienced outside of a Porsche GT3. Not sure if that is a vehicle that interests you or not but you also get lots of practicality and day-to-day usability. It's a much better drive than a Golf R IMO, but the Golf R certainly has more of a "mature" look to it as the CTR styling isn't for everyone. With the way they hold their value you wouldn't be losing much either if you kept it for ~3-5 years.

A friend of mine was selling his old one on Facebook a few years back. I commented that I didn't know they sold those to men. Then I was unfriended.

Not sure what I'd rather be seen in....a lifted truck or a Miata, both are sad.
