I don't think you need to use RECON mode. Normal is correct and I botched a battery thinking it needed reconditioning.

I just dont get how someone can come on here and ask for advice and be told by multiple poeple how to deal with it ... and then ignore that advice
This kind of sums up most of his threads.

Anytime I ever read anything in life I don't believe it unless it references some sort of reputable source and a random stranger on the internet telling me to go for it does not constitute a reputable reference. I was hoping someone would point me to some sort of online chemical paper or published journal outlining the control groups and testing results for this scenario. Or simply telling me you've been working with car batteries for 20 years would have also sufficed.

I didn't get what I needed so I compiled all the advice together as best I could and took the safest route. I don't think that was a bad idea, you can't fault me for that.

The safest route was to delay warming and charging your battery? While you thought it might have been in a low state of charge and it was - 30?

I don't think you were reading the same posts as me. But it's no biggie. Worst case the battery is damaged, but new ones are readily available and easy to obtain.

Some people experienced the battery charging advice differently.
It happens. Justin taught me that.

Might I interest you in the Battery University?

What if say, a member posts 5 paragraphs of text about how their best friend's uncle's cousin who works at Canadian Tire says to go charge the battery in warm environment.

I think we all agree that the more long winded one's post is, the more reputable the content.

    Point you to a paper?

Pretty sure most of us are doubtful you know how to read...

You just came on here looking for yes men to enable your stupidity as per usual. I’d say quit Internet forums, but man it is entertaining to hear about the train wreck that is your day to day life.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

I am laughing. This was a time sensitive issue. It's not like it was getting warmer.
Next it would be, water pipes frozen what should I do?
    Wait a week....
Haven't showered in a week, best hotel showers?
    Wait a week...
    Looking for flood remediation recommendations.
    Wait a week...
Does anyone else have mold allergies in winter or just me?

You have way too much faith in Mar to get that far
