Default Reccomneded customs broker forcommercial freight shippments?

Looking for recommendations for a customs broker that you have personally used for commercial freight into Canada from Asia, and back and forth to USA. Someone who knows their shit when the customer doesn't.
Seacans and palletized LTL freight will be the main items.

Honestly man, this is the one area I have found UPS Other Modes Department to do a consistent and reliable job for not outrageous fees. I have used a few over the years and now I stick pretty much with them.

My firm suggestion is Anderson & Brickner Customs based in Ontario.
They meet all of your criteria.

I've had great luck with Livingston international. Based in Canada. No input from me at all other than where it comes from and where its going, they take care of all goods imported from Asia, and in and out of the states with no issues.

I use Courtney agencies in Vancouver, I first met them when I had to overnight a motec exhaust system from Japan.

Actually I met them when I brought in a body kit from Japan years ago and needed some specialized brokerage help and dock assistance. I still use them for commercial parts importation since they accommodated me before. They're pretty reasonable on the brokerage fees and service has always been good.

That's a lot of people to check out. I'll send some inquiries out and see how the responses are.

Cole International is solid but expensive. I got a freight quote from them this last week for 1 53' flat deck, tarped and not over width with 1.5m insurance and it came out to 10k (to Utah)

I have used a guy called Dan.B in the past. Sent the same RFQ to him and he came in at 6k, 1.5m insurance included with tarping. Jori has also been good as I have used them in the past.

Let me know if you want Dan's contact info to send RFQ

Less worried with who's doing the shipping as the customs brokerage and knowing how to handle that efficiently.

Probably using wagoneers or pinch for the trucking most of the time.
