I have a corded one too but I can see the convenience of the cordless and beyond ballers don't have to haul out the extension cord.
Multiple batteries would be needed.

Extension cord too long = voltage drop = house fire = fire started inside wall with spray foam = everyone ded.
Propane torch is clearly the safe answer.

More BTU's = less time thawing = burning down house = no more hot water tank to worry about.
Propane can't ruin your house nearly as fast as an acetylene torch.
