Man, is there anything this truck CAN'T do?

I don't think it would be able to power too many things in the house, it is pretty ingenious of the guy to use it. I love it!

2.4kw output. Definitely won't run cook top but a couple electric heater is fine if that's what keep you alive in the house.

Some have 7.2kw too. Pretty handy and neat.

Related to the main topic, have a look at the next 14 days of weather for Oklahoma City. Fuck me it's staying pretty cold.

"Fixed rate" Energy suppliers are stating that they may go bankrupt, because they had to pay for electricity prices that they cannot pass on to customers.

Texan power providers going bankrupt. 2021.

Closer to home, Canada based (I think Calgary based?) Just Energy probably going to call it quits. Six days of Texas put them $250 million US in the hole.

Might be in for quite a summer if temperatures can rise that fast.

Side note: They must have known this could happen as there is an actual cap of $9 per kwh at the grid level. They literally just set the price 100x higher than average as "the cap". True capitalism would have no cap, but this is pretty close.
