Alright good input. So basically there are just a ton of goobers out there right now buying up cards at peak prices and theyll never even profit? Thats pretty funny lol

No system works for long if there's simple and low-capital ways to make large profits. This is part of a speculative bubble driven in part by lockdown boredom from hobbyists. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

That cable management is inexcusable
have a 1060 6GB and not having issues, have you tried rebooting your rig? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
basically, same with stocks buying them when they are all time high. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
key is being patient and finding good deals but they get snagged pretty quickly.
my ROI is in 2-3 months so I'm not worried, once unprofitable I can just shutdown my rig and sell my extra cards.
I installed a 2nd GPU on my gaming with the 2nd purpose of being a heater as wife is complaining that she is always coldThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote![]()

who needs a portable heater when you have a GPU instead

Anyone seeing stability issues with either the windows h20 update or nvidias Feb 25th driver?
I ran a 73% power, -500 clock, +1100 memory overclock for about a week without issues. Was holding pretty solid around 100 MH/s @ 265W, 69 degrees
Silly me, updated drivers last night after a bunch of star citizen crashes, and now I seem to crash at anything more severe than 80% power limit, -300 clock, +900 over clock. Things run for a few minutes, then it just black screens. Checking gpu-z my thermal junction is good even at load, up until the crash.
I'm running 461.40 on my mining rig, 3060Ti is stable, the 1060 6GB was misbehaving though as Trex had a GPU crash error and the OC settings were not providing the expected hashrate so I had to reload the profile on MSI Afterburner.
I suspect it was the 1060 not liking 65% power limit as it has been stable again after I moved it back to 70%.
have you tried removing the drivers and doing a clean install of drivers?
I always do a clean install, but there's a possibility there's an issue.
Have the January driver downloaded (461.40), will be reinstalling that and trying again.
Tweaked my 3060ti a bit, seems to be purring between 62.5-63.5 MH/s and no rejected shares, running nice and cool too.

impressive how cool it is running as well. what's your cooling setup like? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
my Eagle OC is only doing 62 MH/s at 65%/-500/+1270, so your TUF mclock is way better than mine.
Completely stock cooling with this case (stock fans):This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

The GPU fans aren't even close to max either. Running 70% on the fans as 100% only netted 2C better.

Had a weird issue with NHQM last night... It looks like both my machines stopped mining at around 11pm. I logged in to check, and while NHQM was running, excavator.exe was gone from both. I had to close and relaunch NHQM to pull down a fresh copy of excavator to get mining again.
Worst part is that I didn't notice until this morning.

As follow up, definitely seemed to be the Feb 25th drivers.
Running 70% power limit, -500 core, +1100 memory right now and back to ~96 MH/s, 67 degrees, 265W, Fan 85%
Think I'lll be looking into thermal pad replacements, seems to be some really good temp adjustments with some better/thicker pads reported on the 3080s.
According to a YT miner the latest nvidia driver increases the hashrate on the 3080/3090 but lowers it slightly on the 3060ti/3070.
Good thing I rarely update drivers unless I need to...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Finally figured out how to turn the LEDs on for the ROG Strix, also spun it so the fans pull heat off the back of the card, dropped temp by 4C
Airflow has been an interesting tweak, tried adding a big case fan blowing fresh air into the “case” ...hated that, every card bumped up a couple degrees, pull heat out seems to work best

sick, you mining with 4 GPUs now, what's your total hashrate?
I also find that having fan blowing hot air out from the GPU works best.
comes summer if you are still mining, you could have a floor flan blowing air from below and have some fans up top blow hot air out as warm air naturally rises.
btw, I'm at 0.04eth on 2miners now so hopefully will be able to withdraw tomorrow or sunday.
I'm considering mining back to ethermine though as I don't like how nicehash handled the phoenixminer situation.

Msi armor gtx 1080 Ti - 44.5mh/s
Gtx 1080 FE - 35.5mh/s
ROG Strix GTX 1080 Ti - 47mh/s
That’s it for 2miner ETH, payout within the next 24hr, doing ~$12usd/day since adding the ROG to the lineup Monday night
Then RTX 3060 pointed at octopus via NH, cause I’m not adding another wallet and exchange to get that into my binance account... it’s at 42.5mh/s... roughly $4.80CAD/day
At this rate, full ROI is well under 4 months, trading ETH at 10x leverage (really 5x, as I only have half the portfolio in at a given time) just buy and sell when it nears the 99MA on the 15min/1hr charts. Nice little boost, haven’t decided on what % of earnings to delegate to what yet, nothing substantial in the account yet, so cheap learning for now
