Whats everyones plan for when Eth moves to PoS? I'll probably keep mining since I have the cards anyways and they've paid for themselves. Figure even if I take a 75% profitability hit that it still beats out electricity.

I'm not sure what to do with my coins though, right now its 75% BTC / 25% Eth. Debating swapping more to Eth and hoping to catch a runup after the shift. Usually seems after a big update that coins climb a bunch.

Im not mining ETH directly so whichever coin will be most profitable since I'm getting paid BTC through NH
After ETH goes PoS, I'm hoping ERGO takes over since it's less power hungry than RVN.

My overall portfolio is 40% BTC, 40% ETH and 20% ERGO

FYI, latest TREX allows for dual mining LHR cards to achieve 100% capacity. Eth+Ergo for example. We are so close to a full unlock. Grab your LHR cards while you can.
just tried this on my 2x 3060 LHR v2 and terrible performance. getting like 20/30MHs for both ETH and ERGO on each card

Im better off mining ERGO direclty through Nanominer as I'm getting 110MHs+ per card for ERGO or I could do Nanominer(ERGO) at 60MH/s + Trex(ETH) at 15MH/s

Hope everyone is enjoying the latest BTC prices

    Over a week I'm averaging 96MH/s on the 3080 FTW3.

Anyone mining on windows 11 yet? Just got the notification on my mining rig but don’t want to upgrade if it breaks t-rex or afterburner or anything.

Mining on Windows is the worst setup.

I think it’s fit for purpose for my Mickey Mouse setup. All I have is a prebuilt dell with a 3060ti. I’m getting 62mh/s with it currently. Right now that’s getting me 4.96 usd per day of eth. I can’t imagine switching to something else will make a significant improvement on that. I also use it for basic stuff like browsing, excel, taxes, etc so I like being able to do that stuff while it mines in the background without having to boot into a different OS every time.

If I had a serious multi gpu setup I’d look into optimizing it.

If anyone wants to sell some of their smaller ETH balances they aren't really using, hit me up.

Any idea what that case is?

A pair of 1060 mini's (yeah not totally mining appropriate - but the price was right) followed me home... Trying to find a case that'll fit on a bookshelf for them to occupy.

You can have my BitFenix Prodigy. Not in perfect shape, but it will be sitting collecting dust.

Was just about to take my stuff out of it and get rid of it :P

Its a black one, two fronts come with it, a solid black with a red surround, and a mesh one with a silver surround exact like the one above.

Also have a boxed up Silverstone LD-03AF if you want that. Take either (or both) for the low price of $Free.99

@CivicDXR thanks for the offer... But turns out I need something different

Forgot about the itx only has one pcie slot; so that doesn't work for this.

So, that new Quadro a2000 12gb article crossed my feed today.

If I decided to sign myself up for a Christmas present upgrade... Where would I be wanting to sign up?

IMO you are better of finding something different for mining. A 3070ti should be easy enough to find and the same cost likely. Its only a matter of time before the LHR gets fully unlocked.

I don't see how the A2000 is better tbh. It's still 600$ CAD so you're spending as much as you would on a 3060ti but its mining is less at just 40MH/s. Its good its more power efficient but in the grand scheme of things, power consumption isn't really relevant to your initial investment. Better to just get a higher performance card and make more mining.

Quadro is typically not equal to rtx? Workstation GPUs are not a great idea to mine with (at least previous gens)

T-rex works fine on Windows 11. You should get rid of Afterburner by setting the absolute core clock.

Reasoning is more cad related... Autodesk and Quadro get along well. Mining when idle is just a bonus. So the Quadro would go in my primary work-ish station.

What would be the best crypto to mine with a 3080?
