Default Where to fatbike in and around Calgary?

Since I no longer have a commute to keep me riding, I picked up a cheap Costco fatbike to tool around.
Where can I ride this thing in and around town (within ~30 minutes drive)?

Any decent trails in Nose Hill or Fish Creek for a novice? Preferably not too much climbing as this thing isn't geared for it.

Nose hill and Fish creek both have trails. Nose hill being easier and with the potential for long climbs. Fish creek will have anything from easy to quite technical trails for a fat bike. Other options would be Bowmont (there is a trail called sideshow bob), Tuscany, and Eastlands (just on the East side of Canada Olypmic Park). If you're willing to go a little further then West Bragg Creek would be your best option, as they machine groom fat bike trails. Just make sure you stay off the skiing trails if you do go out there.

The LATEST Costco fat bike has half-decent range if it has the 1x10 Deore, and if its not enough, you may need to get a different cassette (I don't think the Chain ring on it is conventional)

also you'll need WAAAY better tires than the Kendra garbage it comes with unless you're staying on paths.

I like fat biking Fish... can ride the trails year round and in fact on the Evergreen side, I find the trails are almost "better" than when in the summer when they're all swampy
