Florida, eh?
If I had anything fast, I'd get a buncha chick's riding in it while I made pulls. Seems like nice recreation.

This is the Trackhawk that raced the 1000+Hp 720S from Airdrie at the local half mile shootouts before he had Unobtanium build his turbo setup.

That's pretty amazing.
I didn't watch the whole thing, but is it a supercharger deletion and now turbo?
I look forward to the video where the diff or driveshaft explodes.
Doesn’t get much more local...Alberta plates, he’s from Calgary...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

That thing is sick!! My only question is why Trackhawk? Engine is full custom with aftermarket crank etc. Trans is fully built. Might as well have just done the same build on a regular SRT8, and not wasted the money throwing that Hellcat blower in the garbage. Guessing he already owned the Trakhawk, and decided later to just go HAM with it.
That is likely what happened. Many regular srt-8 Jeeps have gone substantially quicker at the track. If I remember correctly the quickest is at 7.0x seconds now. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
He bought the Trackhawk, had a pile of fun modding it with bolt ons and continued on from there. He also has an AWD VR6 Rabbit he built 20 years ago and an 1800hp 997 Turbo Porsche which have evolved through a build process as opposed to a set plan and build straight to that high level. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Back to the Jeep, the differences between the SRT and Trackhawk aren’t simply a bigger engine, the transfer case is completely different, transmission’s are both variations of the ZF 8 speed but for obvious reasons the Trackhawk’s is much beefier and also longer, improved cooling, brakes, etc, the list goes on. Therefore to build an SRT to this level and have it reliable enough to drive as much as James does, you’d likely end up buying an entire Trackhawk driveline, electronics etc. in order to have the best and strongest components. I’m sure there’s other ways to get to this level of build but the Trackhawk is a good starting point and he has the coin to build on this platform.
