Default Body shop recommendation for color change?

I am contemplating having my E93 repainted with the color changed from Jerez black to something custom. I thought I would see if there is a go to shop that Beyond recommends these days. I know Maranello is likely going to be the best and costliest option. Is Screaming paint works still around? Any alternate options for a high quality paint job? Also curious to hear from anyone that's had a color swap paint job done recently as to what it cost so I can estimate a budget for the repaint. TIA

I dont know costs anymore, but for shits and giggles, I was quoted 800 for a Honda civic trunk that needed almost no prep and going the same color.

Also, Jerez black is an amazing color, I had it on my E90 SE, keep it! For resale, you're losing out on that entire thing you paid for the paint no doubt.

Budget probably $8-15k for a proper colour change at any reputable shop.

Is there damage you’re repairing at the same time as the colour change? If not, I’m not sure that a colour change would be worth it.

I have yet to see an aftermarket paint job that is as good as a factory paint job. You very likely won’t get any money back for the repaint, in fact you would likely lose future resale value.

If you’re looking for a factory colour, it might be easier to just sell your E93 and buy another one in the colour you want?

Alternatively a wrap might be something to consider?

Exactly.... But really really far from exactly.
When the question is like "how many handfuls in a bucket?" The answer is +/- 100%.
This is why wrap is why wrap exists.

It's only amazing when it is clean. Had the car paint corrected and ceramic coated and still not happy with the amount of maintenance it required. As for resale, I'm not terribly concerned about that as it's a modified E93 as it is.

As for wraps, $3k seems to be the going rate for a good quality/talented wrap job and I'd be worried about the paint damage at time of removal when it comes to that...

If you can't afford a proper paint job ($10-20K+ easily), I would just wrap it (~$3-5K)

To answer your second question, Screamin' is still around and they are still doing excellent work. I take everything there.
