I don't buy that he was "clean" during this crash, and if that's actually true, then he's got bigger mental problems then he ever let on. Still either way, he should have a driver. he's approaching Britney levels of trainwreck with his life.
Pretty standard outcome for the people we make dance like monkeys for our entertainment

From a golf stand point, he deserved better. He will likely stand tied with Sam Snead for the all-time wins record. Always a chance he could make a come back, even in his age.

I'm pretty sure that couldn't be further from the truth. But since neither of us know him personally, we'll probably never know.

I don’t think Tiger is anywhere near as stupid as Britney. That was an enormous part of her problem.

GV80s aren't too good in surviving rollovers down cliffs. Noted. I'll stick with body on frame SUVs, because they are obviously safer.

Rich famous people who can't get off the painkillers or other drugs should probably have someone else drive them. He's made over a Billion in career earnings, I assume some of that is left to pay someone $50k/yr to drive he high-ass around. This is ridiculous.
TW (and other "a listers") are known to be super cheap in some instances.

Guy is driving a Hyundai SUV on dry roads in California and has a single vehicle rollover? mental breakdown or suicide attempt is all I can think of if he wasn't high as a fucking kite.

What if he was trying to avoid an animal...or, California, a person.

You missed the part where he was driving a tournament-provided vehicle, right? If this was the BMW Championship he would be driving a BMW. Since he was attending the Genesis Open, he was given a Genesis to drive.

He could have been just texting a side chick while driving way too fast (that road is notorious for speeders) and lost control. You're reaching if you think he's having a mental breakdown or suicide attempt. Hopped up on pain meds is still highly likely, but comparing him to Britney Spears is ridiculous.

From the discussions I've seen, he was due to be at the course for a presser at 7:30, accident occurred just after 7. He was over 45 minutes away from the course where he crashed.

Running late, unfamiliar roads, and possibly toss in lack of sleep and/or any sort of painkillers = big oops.

I'm going to hell for laughing at this..

Well, it is called Rolling Hills Estates after all.

The speed limit is 45 mph, but the road moves downhill quickly. It slopes and swerves. One sheriff’s deputy said he’s clocked cars going more than 80 mph.

"I couldn’t tell you how many tickets in the past year, but we regularly cite people for speed on that section of Hawthorne Boulevard," Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Michael White told USA TODAY Sports. "It’s a steep downhill grade, and it’s steep enough to warrant two runaway truck lanes."
The only break Hyundai is catching is it didn't burst into fire like everything else they built. May be fine if he drove something that has lower center of gravity.

This is so much more likely. My money is on any single/combination of texting, speeding, avoiding wildlife, lack of sleep. Outside chance on serious painkillers (I'm thinking adverse impairment is unlikely, otherwise the police at the scene would have been all over this, and the fact he was on the way to film something makes it less likely he was turnt).

If Alex Smith can come back from his crazy injury a few years ago, I'm sure Tiger can as well

Tiger burst onto the scene when I was in high school back in my golfing days. It was literally unreal following his career before the divorce and back problems. Like a bad tournament for Tiger was still finishing top 10. Other golfers go years even achieving one, and that was just a bad weekend for the guy.

Also, Elin was literally an 11/10.

11/10 looker does not always mean that they 'do' what someone wants in the bedroom. TW had some quirks that way apparently. Or, she could have been completely fine and the only issue he had with her that she was familiar.

While on the topic of hot women, he does like his blondes though:

(there are some barely SFW photos there too)

Tigers should do a commercial with Genesis to say that the safety features in that car saved his life.
Will give him a chance to clear the air on what happened (black box event will show), and he will likely get paid huge for it anyways.

First thought is that he's still hooked on painkillers. Almost feel bad for the guy despite all of his success.
Absolutely feel bad for the guy. As rich and famous as he is I don't envy his life one bit. Living under a microscope and being laser focused on a single thing his whole life he's basically a child star/prodigy that's pay for it today. Seeing his HBO doc recently he seems to be pretty emotionally stunted. Never really got to experience the maturity process of the average person.
