Triad Fasteners. Great place for metric hardware, I was really sad when they closed down.

Triad! I knew the owner Ernie. Something happened and he just walked away from his lease. Left everything there. The landlord was trying to find another company to take his stock but it was so huge nobody did. Not sure what ever ended up happening.

Wow, that's wild, I had no idea. All I knew is one day they were gone, I assumed they had business troubles. Crazy.

Knowing how much inventory they had I think the landlord jacked his lease when it came up for renewal and Ernie just walked. The inventory was in that building for over a year after they closed doors. I tried contacting the leasing agent several times about buying stuff but no reply. They wanted someone to take it all, which is unrealistic to say the least!

Man, that's a damn shame. Can't imagine how they figured they would liquidate to a single buyer, that was a shitload of specialty stock.
