Question Do you self identify as a millennial?

It really seems the term millennial has become a derogatory label for anyone young. The definition varies depending on the source but generally anyone born from the early 1980's up to about the year 2000 would fall into this demographic.

So, simple poll, if your both date is in this range, do you consider yourself a millennial?

ES, you'd be on the cusp of Gen X versus millennial, no, or are you solidly Gen X?

When I try to chat them up, yes.

I identify myself with whatever generation I’m trying to get with. Lol

Born in 87. So apparently right in the middle. I do not refer to myself being part of any generation. Maybe that's a cop out, I dunno

Yeah, most definitions would put me as Gen X , but it's borderline.

I'm probably a millennial and a hipster since I own a pair of Blundstones.

Born mid 80s, I don't know what generation I'm supposed to be in. But I do know I'm automatically lazy and entitled -- there's never been an easier time to be alive.

I own blundstone boots too. Bought em maybe 15 years ago? They could use a polish.

Born in 85. Neither I, nor anyone I know my age, identify as a millenial.

That's likely because "millenial" has become a derogatory term for a younger generation that had childhoods completely different than people my age. I don't understand how anyone born in the early or mid 80s can be lumped in.

Nope... 1980 here. I don't really fit in with either X or Millennial. Recently they started labelling late 70's to early 80's as a micro generation... Xennials or the 'Oregn Trail Generation'

Millenial never came close to describing me, but Xennial is pretty spot on.

I didn't realize a generation was something you got to choose to identify as.

Then again these days everyone wants to be able to declare that they identify as anything they want.

All the people who don't like the label, you are probably more of a millennial than you are letting on

If I get to choose: I identify as whatever Red Foreman is
