    the vinyl planks. I'm thinking thicker ones would have stronger and more forgiving interlocking grooves. I busted a few of the grooves off truing to hammer the planks into place. That's probably mostly a technique issue, but that just reinforces my point that a non-professional installer isn't going to have very good technique.

    @SJW was asking me about this install. I think he's starting an alopecia art club or something. Anyway, flooring has held up well. Has very little paint on it, only a little sharpie, and hardly any nail polish at all. I haven't scrubbed any of that shit off, because why would I? Floor hasn't come apart or shifted noticeably or anything. so that's nice.
