Maytag dishwasher problem

Hi Beyond. My ~10 year old maytag dishwasher stopped turning on today. Some buttons light up when i press them but the start button won't work therefor im not able to start the dishwasher. Any tips?

Not a lot of options when it comes to the electronics. I’d also start shopping for a new one personally.

Google the model number and “start button not working” and see if there is a long shot easy fix. But other than that I wouldn’t bother trying to fix electronics, just get a new one like suggested above. They can be had for pretty cheap these days. Bosch are excellent for a mid-range price

Edit: I have this model at my house and i love it. Can’t go wrong for $700. Also comes in white and black and usually in stock at Lowe’s

Search your "model number"+"diagnostic" and see what you come up with for likely part numbers. If the parts are cheap, get crackin'.

A ton of parts for appliances are on a huge back order right now so even if you can figure it out you'd probably have a pretty tough time getting the part for it in any acceptable time frame. I've been waiting on a new seal for my Whirlpool washing machine for over 3 months.
