I'm hoping to make a baseball game in Okotoks, Denver and Houston in the next year. Baseball is a perfect game for drinking.

Kind of fitting, here's a pic of McMahon Stadium shortly after building it.

The Rock goes from getting cut by the CFL to possibly owning part of it. Impressive.

I can't wait for The Rock to do a promo on the Argonauts. One of my favourite promos; laughed my ass off:

I think this is a done deal-the CFL is currently a charity league.
I think a combination of XFL and CFL rules make the most sense to make the games more watchable.
Gone are three downs, the rouge, the one yard line of scrimmage, Canadian content players, the bigger football and the bigger field.
Keep the 20 second clock, video replay and eye in the sky ref, one time out per half, the 5 yard buffer for more kick returns and leave the goalposts at CFL placements(even with thw goal line).

As long as Calgary keeps a team I can go watch in person I’m happy

Move CFL to 4 downs and I'll hate it way less.

Figure out a way to make the league profitable and pay players more so we get better athletes and I'll like it more. Right now, it's fun, but overall not that impressive when you have players on the field that make less than 1/10th of an NHL entry-level contract. Even top players on each team make less than an NL league minimum salary. Dollars attract talent. Talent is fun to watch. I don't care if it's 3, 4, or 5 downs, I am no football purist, and most fans aren't either.

The amount of downs goes hand in hand with the talent on the field, the players are technically subpar compared to the NFL so to me I figure why give them less attempts to complete a drive, give them more

Watching consecutive 2 and outs making for boring viewing, but this stems from less quality players.

The XFL bridge could attract more american players who might not want to come to Canada to play in the CFL normally because Canada/weather conditions, need more dollary doos to improve things.

I don't prefer CFL to NFL, but I enjoy the different variation that comes from the different rules.

The best thing that XFL brings is the money from broadcast revenue. The CFL brings an existing infrastructure that, for the most part, works perfectly for the market. The problem is that a CFL/XFL package that expands into the USA market basically negates what the CFL brings to the table, so I'm not entirely sure how it would work.

I would say keep the Rouge for the novelty factor, otherwise yeah good list of changes and keepers

No partnership. But like I said, I don't really know what the CFL would've brought to the table.
