New middle school in the Aspen area?

Anyone know if there is going to be a middle school (grades 7-9) opening up in Aspen? I keep hearing rumors about it but can't see anything on the CBE website. Was hoping those of us that slum around the west part of the city but don't live in Aspen with the ballers could try to get in there.

Some people have been talking about a new Catholic high school in Aspen which would go between weber and that other private school. Haven't heard anything about a new middle school since the Aspen K-9 and the Springbank hill K-9 opened up 2 years ago.

Thats the catholic school, they own all the land there, worst place for a school.

I one I had heard about was going to be on the east side of 85th by the new houses being built.

There is also some land set aside on the west side of 85th in Montreaux for a school - not sure if that would ever become one though.

City of Calgary lists all future sites. I don't believe that school is in the CBE capital plan. In the CSSD 5 year capital plan is the high school in the west end.

That site doesn't say what property is which but it tells you what's set aside.

So happy with my current location. What a gong show 14th ave and 85th would be if there is a school going in by the CBE and then the only between Webber and CA. Webber's traffic is bad enough.
